Moving to Canon

I have decided to buy a Canon Rebel XTI with 18-55mm II Lens. I also made sure I spend a little more to buy a 4GB CF Card and 75-300mm III Lens. In the process, I also learnt Sony H9 is doing well. If you are looking at a bridge digital camera (somewhere in between normal digital and SLR), this should be a good pick. Please feel free to share your comments about my pick.
