I just wanted to talk to you a little about my feelings toward this page. I know that it is not the world's best webpage, but it concerns my family. In this modern world we hardly have time to spend with our relatives. The max we do is take our own family out on a weekend. My experience - I have contacts only with my first level relatives (my mother and father's immediate relatives. I know there are many more in the list. At this rate my children are going to miss my entire set of relatives. I have heard from my grandpa about the joint family culture earlier. With all the little problems, life used to be full of fun with relatives. What I am saying nowadays is completely different. I understand joint family system is not all that possible now but keeping in touch with relatives is not a problem at all. Each person has his family and is least bothered or not interested in networking with other relatives. I am planning to trace my family's history and will be sharing it with my friends and relatives. I know that everyone does not have access to the Internet, but this is the fastest and most economical way of publishing my work. So here is an effort from myside. I am planning to work on the following:
The possible next question is usually why I am doing all this? The answer is "I like it, that's why". I enjoy learning about my family and finding new relatives. It's like a jigsaw puzzle. The pieces are there, you just have to piece them together. This is just an effort.
